The Eye in the Sky, Closing Cycles & The Shift into Uranus in Gemini

Sunday night, after leaving my studio for my Crystal Healing event something made me stop!
The sky wasn’t just a sky — it was a message.
The clouds had formed into what could only be described as an eye… but not just any eye. There was depth to it, structure within it — almost like a doorway sitting inside the centre. An opening within the eye itself. Watching. Revealing. Closing.
And in that moment, I knew.
This wasn’t random.
This was the closing of a cycle.
What made it even more special — and something I don’t take lightly — was that I was with my Mum when this happened. We both stood there, witnessing it together. Two people who have always connected to energy, standing side by side, watching the sky quite literally reflect what is shifting right now. So powerful and a moment I will never forget.
And then, as everything started to settle in, I realised the deeper layer to it all…
The very next day, Monday 27th April, was my dad’s birthday.
My dad passed nearly three years ago now, and in that moment it felt like everything aligned — watching that sky with my mum, standing between past and present, between what was and what is now becoming.
It felt like a goodbye… but not in sadness.
A completion.
A closing of circles.
A deep, quiet transformation that doesn’t need words, only presence.
Because at the same time… Uranus has now moved.
A transit.
♉️ Uranus in Taurus — The Cycle That Just Closed
Uranus has been in Taurus since May 2018.
That’s 7 years of deep, slow, sometimes uncomfortable but necessary transformation.
Taurus rules:
– Stability
– Money
– The body
– The physical world
– What we build our lives on
And Uranus?
Uranus disrupts.
It awakens.
It breaks apart what is too rigid, too fixed, too outdated.
So for the past 7 years, we have all been taken through a process of having our foundations shaken. What we thought was secure… questioned. What we relied on… shifted. What we valued… completely redefined.
This wasn’t chaos for no reason.
This was recalibration.
And that sky… that eye with the doorway within it… felt like exactly that.
A closing.
A sealing.
A final look back before the door shuts.
And for me, on a personal level, it held something even deeper — a sense of completion not just in the collective, but within my own life, my own family, my own story.
♊️ Uranus in Gemini — The Opening of New Doors
Now, Uranus has moved into Gemini.
And everything changes.
Gemini rules:
– Communication
– The mind
– Learning
– Information
– Expression
– Connection
So where Taurus was about breaking down the physical foundations, Gemini now begins to rewire the mental and communicative landscape.
This is where:
– New ideas come in fast
– Truths are spoken
– Old ways of thinking collapse
– New ways of connecting and communicating emerge
This is not a slow energy.
This is quick.
Electric.
Unpredictable.
Doors opening rapidly.
And that’s why that moment in the sky felt so powerful — because it wasn’t just about something ending… it was about the awareness that something entirely new is now beginning.
And as if the timing couldn’t be more aligned…
We move straight into Beltane on the 1st May, with a Full Moon in Scorpio.
This is important to understand:
This is not a manifestation moon.
This is not about calling things in.
This is a release point.
Scorpio energy goes deep.
It rules:
– Transformation
– Death and rebirth
– Emotional truth
– Letting go
– The subconscious
A Scorpio Full Moon will not let you bypass what needs to be felt.
It will bring it up.
It will show you clearly:
What you are still holding onto
What needs to end
What you are ready to shed
And with everything that has just closed through Uranus in Taurus… this moon becomes the final emotional clearing.
Which is exactly why this Beltane celebration is not about creating.
It’s about releasing.
Through:
– Fire
– Movement
– Dance
– Expression
– Freedom
Fire is one of the most powerful elements for transmutation.
We are not sitting still with this energy.
We are moving it.
Burning it.
Releasing it from the body.
Letting it go properly — not just mentally, but physically and energetically.
This is about joy in release.
Freedom in letting go.
Coming back into the body and remembering what it feels like to actually be alive without the weight of what you’ve been carrying.
Moving Into May — Taking the Lead
Because once this release happens…
May doesn’t wait.
May comes in strong with two Full Moons.
This is where you are asked to step forward.
To lead.
To act.
To move on the things you didn’t quite land in January.
There is no more waiting.
No more holding back.
But it has to come from a clean space.
And that’s what this moment is giving you:
A closing of a 7-year cycle
A powerful energetic release
A reconnection to your body and truth
So that when you move… you move clearly.
