The Lions Gate Portal - A Time to Remember, Reconnect & Honour Yourself 🦁✨

Every year, as the Lions Gate Portal approaches, we begin to hear the same message repeated across social media…

“Manifest more.”

More abundance.

More success.

More opportunities.

More.

Whilst there is nothing wrong with setting intentions, I believe the Lions Gate Portal offers us something much deeper.

This year, my heart is leading me somewhere different.

Many of you have asked why I’m not holding a Lions Gate event on the 8th of August.

The answer is beautifully simple - Its my birthday that day and the last year of my 40s.

Instead of teaching, I’ll be celebrating quietly, spending time in nature, reconnecting with myself and simply allowing the day to unfold.

The more I reflected on that decision, the more I realised it perfectly mirrors what I personally feel this portal is inviting us to do.

Not to push harder.

Not to do more.

But to become more present with ourselves.

The Energy of Leo & Sirius

The Lions Gate Portal is often associated with the Sun moving through Leo while Sirius, the brightest star visible in our night sky, rises prominently at this time of year.

Across many spiritual traditions, Sirius has long been regarded as a symbol of wisdom, higher consciousness and illumination, while Leo reminds us to live courageously, lead with love and express ourselves authentically.

Together, these energies invite us to remember something we often forget.

The light we seek has never been outside of us.

Perhaps this portal isn’t asking us to become someone new. It’s gently reminding us to come home to who we have always been.

The Lions Gate Portal is often associated with the Sun moving through Leo while Sirius, the brightest star visible in our night sky, rises prominently at this time of year.

Alongside these two powerful symbols, this August also carries its own celestial rhythm, with Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter moving direct, while Saturn, Neptune and Pluto invite a period of deeper reflection through their retrograde journeys. Later in the month, a solar eclipse in Leo is followed by a lunar eclipse in Pisces, creating a beautiful reminder that life is always moving through cycles of new beginnings, reflection and gentle release.

Every Month Brings New Energy

One of the beautiful things about our spiritual journey is that no two months carry exactly the same invitation. Life moves in cycles.

There are moments of expansion, moments of integration, moments of healing and moments of transformation.

Every day offers us an opportunity to grow, to learn and to deepen our connection with ourselves.

Many people experience these changes as energetic shifts or periods of spiritual growth, where old ways of thinking gently fall away to make space for greater clarity, compassion and self-awareness.

This August feels different especially being in the year of the Fire Horse and Chinese month of the Mental Monkey.

Rather than encouraging us to constantly reach for the next thing, it feels like an opportunity to strengthen our foundations.

To slow down.

To become intentional.

To notice what genuinely nourishes us.

To recognise what quietly drains our energy.

To honour what feels aligned and lovingly release what no longer reflects who we are becoming.

Growth isn’t always about adding something new.

Sometimes it’s found in simplifying.

Creating space.

Resting.

Listening.

Trusting ourselves enough to slow down.

The Wisdom of Rest

We live in a world that often celebrates being busy.

Yet nature teaches us something very different.

Trees do not bloom all year.

The ocean has tides.

The moon moves through phases.

Everything has seasons of expansion and seasons of restoration.

Perhaps this August is offering us that same wisdom.

Rest is not stepping away from your purpose.

It is part of your purpose.

Stillness is not doing nothing.

It is creating the space to hear your own inner wisdom.

If you’re feeling drawn to spend more time outdoors…

To sleep more deeply…

To protect your peace…

To switch off the constant noise…

To sit quietly beneath the stars…

Trust that feeling.

Sometimes the greatest transformation happens in the moments nobody else sees.

A Month of Reflection

This August also brings a series of celestial events that many people find deeply meaningful, including a period between a solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse.

Within many spiritual traditions, these moments are viewed as opportunities for new beginnings, reflection and release.

Whether you experience these cosmic events as energetic gateways or simply as reminders to pause and reflect, they invite us to become more conscious of what we are carrying into the next chapter of our lives.

Some chapters begin quietly.

Others come to a natural close.

Both are equally important.

Transformation doesn’t always happen through dramatic change.

Sometimes it arrives through a simple realisation.

Sometimes it begins with a single decision.

Sometimes it starts with giving ourselves permission to rest.

The Wisdom of the Number Eight

The number 8 has long been associated with abundance, balance, strength and infinite potential. Turn it on its side and it becomes the symbol of infinity.

For me, that symbol carries an even deeper reminder.

Energy is always moving.

Just as the infinity symbol flows in both directions, so does life.

There are seasons of expansion.

And there are seasons of reflection.

Moments of creating.

And moments of receiving.

Sometimes we move forwards with confidence.

Sometimes we are invited to pause, integrate and simply trust.

Neither direction is wrong.

Both are essential.

The Lions Gate Portal isn’t asking us to endlessly climb higher.

It is inviting us to remain in harmony with the natural rhythm of life.

Some years, this portal feels expansive.

Other years, it feels deeply restorative.

This year, for me, it feels like a return to presence.

A reminder that we don’t always have to chase the next destination.

Sometimes we simply need to appreciate the journey we’ve already travelled.

So, before you ask for more… please ask yourself:

“What do I want to manifest?”

Perhaps begin with these questions instead…

✨ Am I living in alignment with my values?

✨ Am I creating enough space to fully receive what is already here?

✨ What truly deserves my energy?

✨ What am I ready to gently let go of?

✨ Where is life inviting me to trust myself more deeply?

Sometimes clarity arrives when we stop searching for it.

Walking Through the Portal

With gratitude.

With presence.

With the people I love.

With time in nature.

With my crystals beside me.

Connecting with the radiant light of Sirius, embracing the courage of Leo and simply listening to whatever wisdom the Universe wishes to whisper. And with an open heart beneath the stars.

For me, this feels like the most authentic way to honour both the portal and my birthday.

Once the Lions Gate Portal has closed, I’ll be looking forward to welcoming you back into the studio from 18th August and to the beautiful outdoor gatherings, where we’ll come together in nature to continue our journey through crystal healing, energetics, meditation and heartfelt connection.

I can’t wait to share those magical moments with you as we move into the next chapter of the year with the fire horse.

The Lions Gate Portal isn’t a race to manifest the next chapter.

It’s an invitation to become deeply connected with yourself, your heart and your own inner light. Everything else grows naturally from there.

May this Lions Gate Portal remind you that you don’t need to become more worthy.

You don’t need to prove yourself.

You don’t need to rush.

You simply need to honour the incredible person you already are.

The greatest miracles are rarely found by searching for more.

They are found in the quiet moments when we finally remember who we have always been.

Happy Lions Gate everyone, the Portal is open.

Much love,

Natasha 🦁✨
