This Is About Awakening, Not Dependency

In my previous blog, The Awakening Is Real — But So Is Discernment, I spoke about the incredible shift that is happening in our world. More people than ever are awakening, questioning their lives and searching for something deeper.

I also spoke about the importance of discernment.

Who we choose to learn from matters.

Who we trust with our minds, our energy and our personal growth matters.

That naturally leads to the question I am often asked…

"So what actually happens at your events?"

The answer is quite simple.

I don't believe my role is to give you the answers.

I believe my role is to help you reconnect with yourself.

To reconnect with your soul.

To reconnect with the deeper part of you that exists beyond the noise, the expectations and the roles you have taken on throughout your life.

In my own experience, our soul carries wisdom far beyond this present lifetime, and when we begin to reconnect with that deeper part of ourselves, life starts to make much more sense.

I believe the greatest guidance comes through connecting with your own higher source, rather than constantly searching for answers outside of yourself.

That belief didn't begin through my work.

It began long before that.

Growing up, I was fortunate to have a mother who was deeply connected. Like many children, I believed she held all the answers. Whenever I found myself at a crossroads, I would go to her asking what I should do.

Time and time again she would say something that, at the time, frustrated me.

"I can't tell you what to do."

"You must seek out the answers for yourself."

She would often say,

"If I tell you, I take away the lesson and the blessing that life is about to give you."

It took me many years to truly understand what she meant.

There were times when she could sense what lay ahead, but she also understood something incredibly important.

The choice was never hers to make.

It was mine.

That lesson has stayed with me throughout my life and has become one of the foundations of how I work today.

People sometimes ask me why I don't simply tell them what is going to happen.

The answer is because I don't believe that is my role.

Even when guidance is available, every person still has free will.

Every decision creates a different experience.

Every choice teaches something unique.

Now, don't get me wrong...

There are moments when I may share something if I feel it genuinely helps bring clarity to what you already know deep down.

Perhaps you're asking, "Am I having a girl or a boy?" Or you're looking for confirmation around something your own intuition has already been quietly showing you.

Sometimes a little reassurance is all that's needed.

But I never want someone to hand me the steering wheel of their life and ask me to drive it for them.

That journey belongs to you.

Over the years, I've also sought guidance myself. Like many people, I've visited mediums and practitioners because there are times when it is difficult to see our own path clearly. Yet my own experiences taught me something valuable: no one could ever know my journey better than I could come to understand it through living it.

That isn't to say guidance has no value.

Far from it.

There are times in life when we need someone to help us see what we cannot yet see.

Sometimes life brings us to a crossroads through illness, loss, trauma, burnout or unexpected change. These experiences can disconnect us from ourselves, making it difficult to see clearly or know which direction to take.

At these moments, the guidance of an experienced practitioner can help create the energetic shift that allows a new level of awareness to emerge.

But guidance should open a door.

It should never close one.

Its purpose is to help you reconnect with your own wisdom, not replace it.

Whether your path is rooted in God, the Universe, Spirit, your higher source, or something else entirely, that relationship is deeply personal.

No one can walk it for you.

Life has a way of pulling us away from that connection.

Stress.

Loss.

Trauma.

Illness.

Heartbreak.

Family responsibilities.

Work.

Years of putting everyone else's needs before our own.

Without even realising it, we begin making decisions from duty rather than from alignment.

Our boundaries become blurred.

We lose sight of what truly feels right for us.

Through crystals, energetics, meditation, Reiki, breathwork, soul connection and deep energetic awareness, I create a space where you can gently reconnect with yourself and strengthen your connection to your own higher source.

My sessions and events are intentionally varied because every stage of life asks something different of us.

Some people come for a single experience.

Others return for different events throughout the year.

I often describe it as dipping in and dipping out.

Each experience offers something different, depending on where you are on your own journey.

You shouldn't come looking for someone else to tell you the answers.

You come to reconnect.

To find clarity.

To strengthen your awareness.

To understand your own boundaries.

To recognise the choices that are available to you.

To remember what truly feels aligned for your life.

I don't believe awakening looks the same for everyone.

One of the biggest misconceptions I see today is that once someone begins awakening spiritually, they should become a healer, teacher or mentor.

I don't believe that at all.

Every soul has its own purpose.

Some people are here to heal.

Some are here to teach.

Some are here to create.

Some are here to build businesses.

Some are here to raise families with love and compassion.

Some are here to lead quietly through kindness.

Some are here to bring beauty into the world through art, music or creativity.

There isn't one destination.

There are millions.

Awakening is not about becoming someone else.

It is about becoming more fully yourself.

That is why I don't believe in creating dependency.

If someone leaves one of my sessions believing they need me every time they have a decision to make, then I haven't truly served them.

My hope is the opposite.

I hope they leave feeling calmer.

More connected.

More aware.

Better able to recognise what feels aligned and what doesn't.

I hope they begin trusting themselves more deeply.

Because the real work doesn't finish when the session ends.

It continues in everyday life.

It happens in the choices you make.

The boundaries you create.

The conversations you have.

The courage to change direction when something no longer feels right.

The willingness to honour yourself instead of living only through duty or expectation.

My role is not to walk your path for you.

My role is to help you reconnect with yourself.

To reconnect with your soul.

To strengthen your connection to your own higher source.

Not my voice.

Yours.

Because when that connection begins to strengthen, life starts to feel different.

You stop looking for someone else to tell you who you are.

You begin recognising it for yourself.

And from that place, your own purpose naturally begins to unfold.

Not because somebody gave it to you.

But because you finally became quiet enough to hear it.

That is the true purpose of my work.
